WOA held its First Ducati Regional Track Experience at the BIC

Wheels of Arabia held its first track event for Ducati motorbikes at the Bahrain International Circuit on the 12th of December. The event was held for the Ducati owners in the Gulf region. The event consisted of bike rentals, test drives, a track riding experience for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels and the most important of all is the exciting theoretical and practical training presented by one of the famous ex-Moto GP and world’s top Ducati rider Dario Marchetti. “It is our honor and privilege to have Dario Marchetti giving a precise training on and off the track to the participants and we are very proud to host and arrange this event.” Mr. Abdulrahman Almoayed said. Marchetti, an Italian is the Chief instructor of the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE). His racing honours include four national titles, the 2001 Italian Endurance Championship on a Ducati 996R, the 2004 Battle of the Twins race at Daytona aboard a 748 and the European Endurance Championship later that year on a 998 and 999R. “This event will mark a leap not only uplifting the Ducati brand but also to give motivational experience for all aspiring motorists and riders in the Kingdom of Bahrain” said Mr. Marchetti. “We believe that the success of this event will be the start of a yearly-anticipated event,” he added. The event was attended by almost 50 riders from Bahrain all the way Kuwait and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where they were able to get acquainted with motorcycle riding on a circuit for different levels; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
